Kaulana Mahina
The first privately-funded workforce housing development on Maui in over 20 years — 324 units across a 14-acre site, built with innovative inter-island labor mobilization strategies to overcome island-specific supply chain constraints.

Project Overview
Kaulana Mahina is a 264,000-square-foot workforce housing development in Wailuku, Maui — the first privately-funded multi-family development of its kind on Maui in more than 20 years. Developed for Legacy Partners and Schatz Collaborative on a 14-acre site, the project required innovative workforce mobilization strategies including weekly inter-island labor coordination from Oʻahu to address Maui's local labor constraints and island-specific supply chain challenges. Delivered through Moss's Hawaiʻi office.
